Myth Busters

M Workers do not require theoretical knowledge. N Theoretical knowledge is critical at the foundation level as it significantly reduces the cost of errors.
MDigital literacy is not relevant for workmen. N Digital literacy allows workmen to collaborate and create value.
MOnce certified, recertification is not needed. N In the constantly evolving business landscape, skilling and reskilling are essential to ensure that the workforce remains competitive and agile.
MAn engineer need not possess vocational skills. N For efficient project management and hand holding the team, an engineer needs to have vocational skills.
MAt levels 2 to 5 workers, only need skills related to hand-eye coordination or muscle memory. N Levels 2 to 5 workers should be trained and developed in safety, regulatory and quality control procedures—a norm followed by the western countries.

Our Learning Pedagogy

Recruit Train Deploy & RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) helps employers recognise a workman’s prior skills and provide suitable training, enabling increased job productivity and reduced downtime. Recruit Train Deploy (RTD) allows employers to recruit and then train the workforce, making them job-ready with continuous training and development. NSFQ Aligned Short Term Training (STT) courses contain structured content and activities that bridge skill gaps.

PHYGITAL delivery

Platform-based delivery of courses through appropriate Physical and Digital capsules provide a seamless learning experience. Theoretical knowledge comprises 40% of the curriculum, and 60% is focused on practical learning. Learners will have practical hands-on training and access to on-site videos digitally. The phygital delivery not only helps enhance the learner’s skills but also improves their employability quotient.

Integrated Assessments System

A robust video-based learner-centric assessment process is designed to assess and certify learners across various competencies. A system that will continuously assess a workman’s skills and help us identify the areas for improvement, making them employment ready.

Workers who have undergone vocational certification will have better employment opportunities. They will be better equipped to perform the skills they have learnt onsite.

Our Wide Range of Vocational Courses

L&T EduTech’s vocational skilling courses are modular and aligned with Qualification Packs (QPs) set by National Occupational Standards (NOS). Each course has section-wise activities and assignments mandated by the QP’s. While the theoretical part of the curriculum is an easy-to-understand audio-visual content delivered in Hindi and English; onsite footage and animation are deployed to enhance understanding of the working methodologies.
